We will be opening its kitchen doors for a lunchtime “taster” each Saturday from noon to 1:30pm. Our Learn a Dish, Cook a Dish class will whisk you through a demonstration, before stationing you at the stove, recipe book in-hand, to recreate the dish. And there is no chance of getting cold feet, we have lots of staff to help with questions. Once you’ve plated your creation, we’ll have a seat at our communal dining table ready and waiting with a glass of wine. The best part: not only will we take care of dessert, we’ll do the dishes too.

Walter joins the Dirty Apron Cooking School with over 15 years of industry experience that spans chef and ownership of his own restaurant-- Toi et Moi restaurant in the Provence region of France—and development of curriculum and instruction at culinary institutions the world over.
Designed to focus on kitchen fundamentals and building a culinary foundation, The Dirty Apron’s Gourmet Boot Camp is a series of classes spread over five days. Instruction delves into the basics of crafting stocks and sauces, essential knife skills, meat and butchery, preparing and cleaning fish and shellfish, grains and vegetables, and the art of desserts and pastries.

The menus are designed by chef and teacher, Barb Finley, developer of Project CHEF: Cook Healthy Edible Food. Designed with young learners in mind, the children are actively engaged in the cooking process, from start to finish.
The 5 day classes run throughout the summer holidays and run from 10am-2pm. We offer classes for two age groups: 7-11 year olds and 12-17 year olds.
We might even discover the next Gordon or Jamie!
